You’ve watched and listened to our Paranormal Stories of a Medium, but now we’ve got more spooky stories to tell. Your Meta PsycKicks are here to share a few stories from our time in college, but these are no normal college tales. These stories are true paranormal tales from our haunted school. Committing to higher education is a daunting task by itself, but what about attending a known haunted college, especially as a psychic medium? Get comfy for these three short tales of Mrs. Morely, The Haunted Girls Dorm, and The Stage Freight Monster.

High Heels in The Music Hall

The college we attended had a building erected in the honor of a woman named Mrs. Morely, and it served as the school’s music building and church. This ghost is known for haunting the building built in her honor most notably by walking up and down the aisle way and judging any music being performed in the building. Mrs. Morley walks within her building with her high heels clicking on the granite floors towards individuals privately practicing their music, stopping just behind them, but only if she approves of the person’s talent. If she doesn’t like the music or finds the person practicing is bad, she will walk past them with her heels clicking on the floor. Then would proceed to slam the doors on the second-story floor. A simple, “Could you please stop?” would suffice instead. Don’t you think?

No Boys Allowed

This college was originally an all-girls school with the only remnant being the all-girls dorm. It is said that this dorm cannot become co-ed because of the ghost who haunts it.

It is common knowledge throughout the school that the dormitory is haunted, but by whom?

Liv found out. From studying old paintings around the school, the spirit from one painting communicated to Liv that she is the one who causes mischief in the girls’ dorm. The lady was the first woman to hold a position of power among a history of all men running the all-girls school. So it makes sense that the stern-looking woman in the painting could be the one haunting the last portion of the once ladies-only school.

How and why does she haunt the dormitory?

The most common way the stern lady haunts the dorm is by opening windows and dresser drawers and scattering the occupant’s belongings all throughout their room including rearranging the furniture. The ghost only does this when boys are invited into the dorms.

It is common for local students to return home over the weekends. Well one weekend, our friend left her roommate to travel home. With the room being empty, the roommate invited her boyfriend to spend the night. At the end of the weekend, our friend returned to a distraught roommate and the rest of the dorm’s inhabitants outside of her room. Her roommate refused to go back into the room and terrifyingly recounting that she and her boyfriend awoke to the room’s current state. Our friend went into their room to find it in utter disarray. The beds were pushed into the center of the room with the windows open and the contents of the room scattered throughout. Originally, the girl’s roommate didn’t seem to believe in the dorm’s story or heed the warning of “no boys allowed”, but she must be a believer now.

Stage Fright is in The Shadows

We spent a large amount of time with our friends in our school’s art building. With long nights filled with projects, due dates, and hours of studying, we would spend some time backstage in the green room with our friends.

! Spoiler: Liv was not the only medium in our friend group!

Our friend who is a psychic medium noticed a paranormal presence that was lurking backstage; however, her perception of the paranormal is different than Liv’s due to their sensitivity and openness to other aspects of the spirit world.

One night, this friend noticed a tall slender being peaking out from behind the stage’s curtains. We cautiously rushed backstage to investigate her claims. She explained that there is a dark entity that has a large energy field that covers the stage. When you walk into the energy field, the entity screws with you and makes you feel very nervous and unsettled. She describes that this monster hides in the shadows of the theatre absorbing the fear and feelings of stage fright from the performers or anyone stupid enough to walk into its energy field. Thus, giving it is its name of The Stage Fright Monster.

She claims that the energy field changes when people walk into it. It appears as a line on the floor, and this monster lures people to cross it. Exactly what it did for us! When you cross this line, the entity gets bigger by feeding off of your energy. Its energy changes and gets stronger covering more and more of the stage! The more terrified the performer, the stronger the monster could get, reaching farther out with its ability to scare others and steal their terror for power. You may think twice the next time your in front of a crowd, feeling the effects of stage fright. Is it you, or something else?
